9.5" Long Amargasaurus - Realistic Dinosaur Replica, by Papo
The 9.5" Long Amargasaurus Realistic Dinosaur Replica is part of Papo's popular dinosaurs collection. The amargasaurus was a large herbivore of the early Cretaceous period, about 130 to 120 million years ago. It was identified by its distinctive two parallel rows of tall spines down its neck and back. A virtually complete skeleton fossil was discovered in Argentina in 1984.
The Papo toy line features beautifully crafted figurines and animals. Made of heavy-duty rubber, this amargasaurus has been painstakingly hand-painted, with an extraordinary amount of detail being sculpted and painted.
Papo has been in the business of creating figures for almost 20 years, and remains dedicated to producing a top of the line product which will stand the test of time, being passed from one generation of inquisitive minds to the next. Safety to them is a central priority, and something that they start looking at even in the initial design phase. All of their model figures are manufactured following strict compliance with international safety rules, and are tested by approved laboratories.
