6.5" Tall Spinosaurus - Realistic Dinosaur Replica, by Papo
6.5" Tall Spinosaurus Dinosaur Replica
Among the largest of the carnivorous dinosaurs, including possibly even Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Spinosaurus is estimated to have been between 12-18 meters in length, and roughly 7-21 tonnes in weight. It featured a skull that was long and narrow, very similar to that of modern-day crocodilians. Along its spine run a row of distinctive spines, which were long extensions of the vertebrae that grew to at least 1.65 meters in length, forming a sail that was used for either thermoregulation or mating displays.
Spinosaurus has been crafted of heavy-duty rubber and painstakingly painted by hand, with an extraordinary amount of detail being put into the sculpting and painting process. It features an articulated lower jaw, allowing the mouth to be opened and closed.
